Beach-Bound Baby!

I am more than ecstatic to announce that I am embarking for the beach in just a few hours! Since the sand, sun and swimsuits are on my mind, thought I would mention how much I am loving J.Crew's collection of feminine, flattering and ultra-sexy (in a conservative way, of course!) one-piece swim suits this season! I am not one to normally get excited about a one-piece of any sort...but I must say that these suits are tempting...and I can't imagine wearing anything more stylishly comfortable while chasing kids around the pool or throwing a Frisbee on the beach. The Hanky-Panky Copy-Cat

This post is for all ladies who adore Hanky Panky brand underwear, but can't help but cringe at their high-price per pair. I have recently found a fabulous, much more affordable alternative! (It feels a little strange to write a public blog post about undergarments...much less thongs...but I felt like I needed to share the wealth with my all lady friends!) I am loving my new Gilligan & O’Malley® Thong's from Target. They look identical to Hanky Panky's and I personally like the fit even better...they appear perfectly smooth and seemlesss under clingy clothes. And the price is worth getting excited about: $4/pair!! (Online, many colors come as a 2-pack for $8.) Men's Style Monday: The Perfect Tee

Men's Style Monday: A Great Pair of Jeans

I cannot over emphasize the importance of a owning great pair of jeans...particularly for men, who all too often make the mistake of dismissing this critical article in their wardrobes! I firmly believe that it is better to own just one or two pairs of well-made, flattering jeans rather than dozens of mediocre pairs. I am often asked what are my favorite jeans for guys. Of course, I can't answer that question universally, due to differing body types and personal styles, but here's a pair that fit many guys (including my husband and brother) very well. I like this basic men's jean from Seven called Relaxed in Los Feliz due to its relaxed-leg, medium wash (that goes with anything) and the bit of stretch in the fabric that "hugs" just the right places and prevent the jeans from becoming too slouchy.
